Items apply to the equipment’s design. Starting prices cover maintenance labor. Parts and fluids are extra and approved before work. Belt inspection is included where listed; belt replacement is not included in maintenance pricing. I can replace belts during maintenance for an extra charge: the belt and any other needed parts, plus labor at $90/hour in 15-minute increments. I’ll quote the additional cost and get your approval before replacing a belt. Hydraulic service is also separate work quoted for approval.

Diagnostics & repair labor

Small equipmentIncludes the first 1.5 hours on-site: $135 minimum
Riding & zero-turn mowersIncludes the first 2 hours on-site: $180 minimum
Additional approved time$22.50 per 15 minutes: $90 / hour

Parts and extra work

Approved parts cost extra. Maintenance pricing and repair minimums are not stacked. Extra repairs approved during maintenance are $90/hour in 15-minute increments, without a second repair minimum.

Service area & hours

No out-of-area travel surcharge in these core service cities: Covington, Taylor Mill, Fort Wright, Fort Mitchell, Park Hills, Edgewood, Erlanger, Elsmere, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Fort Thomas and Wilder.

Outside those cities, including Florence, Independence, Alexandria, Burlington and Walton, send your address to confirm coverage.

Out-of-area travel: how the quote works

Travel is $75/hour based on the estimated full round trip from Covington, with a $40 minimum travel charge. I’ll give you a fixed travel quote before booking. Traffic will not increase that agreed quote.

Travel is additional to the applicable service price: the $135 small-equipment diagnostic/repair minimum, the $180 riding/zero-turn diagnostic/repair minimum, or the quoted maintenance price. The visit minimum is not an all-inclusive repair price; approved parts and extra labor may cost more.

Examples with the $135 small-equipment minimum

15 minutes each way: $40 travel + $135 service minimum = $175 starting total.
30 minutes each way: $75 travel + $135 service minimum = $210 starting total.
45 minutes each way: $112.50 travel + $135 service minimum = $247.50 starting total.

Examples exclude parts and additional approved work. Riding/zero-turn repair visits use the $180 minimum instead. Any travel charge for a return visit is quoted and approved separately before that visit.

By appointment: weekday evenings from 5 p.m. and weekends, subject to availability.

Mobile only. No pickups or drop-offs.

Equipment and service terms

We don’t service EFI engines, diesel engines, large commercial equipment or ATVs. For eligible equipment, we review the model, symptoms and access before accepting a job. Major rebuilds and unusual equipment are considered individually within these limits.

Approve extra work and parts before we proceed.
Pay when the work is finished.
Agree any return-trip charge upfront.
Report our workmanship errors within 30 days and we’ll correct them without labor or travel charges. This is not a blanket parts warranty.

Frequently asked questions

Know what you’re approving before work starts.

What if I decide not to repair the equipment?

The diagnostic/service minimum still applies once I’ve made the agreed visit and assessed your equipment, even if you choose not to go ahead with a repair: $135 for small equipment or $180 for riding and zero-turn mowers. Any travel charge agreed before booking also applies. You won’t be charged for repair work you haven’t approved.

What does the repair minimum cover?

The $135 small-equipment minimum includes the first 1.5 hours on-site. The $180 riding/zero-turn minimum includes the first 2 hours. Additional time is $90/hour in 15-minute increments ($22.50), with your approval. Parts are extra, and any out-of-area travel quote is separate. The minimum is not a promise that every repair can be completed for that amount.

What happens if my equipment needs parts?

I’ll explain the needed parts and quote their cost and any additional work for your approval before proceeding. If parts aren’t available during the visit, we’ll discuss the plan for completing the repair and agree any return-visit charges upfront.

Will a return visit cost extra?

A return visit, such as a trip to fit needed parts, may involve an additional charge. Before arranging it, we’ll agree the parts, remaining work and any return-trip charge. Any return travel charge is quoted and approved separately, not added without your agreement.

Can you replace a belt during maintenance?

Yes. Belt inspection is included in riding and zero-turn maintenance, but replacement is extra. You pay for the belt and any other needed parts, plus replacement labor at $90/hour in 15-minute increments. I’ll quote the extra parts and labor and get your approval first.

Do maintenance and repair minimums get added together?

No. Maintenance pricing and repair minimums are not stacked. If you approve repairs during a maintenance visit, the extra repair labor is $90/hour in 15-minute increments, without a second repair minimum. Parts and fluids are extra. Hydraulic service and other work outside the maintenance checklist are quoted separately for approval.

Is there a travel fee?

There’s no out-of-area travel surcharge in the listed core service cities. Any return-visit charge is discussed and approved separately. Outside that area, the fixed quote is based on estimated full round-trip travel from Covington at $75/hour, with a $40 minimum. It is additional to your applicable service price and agreed before booking; traffic won’t increase it. See travel details and examples.

When do I pay, and how are extra charges handled?

Payment is due when the work is finished. Parts, extra work and any return-trip charge are agreed before we proceed, so you know what you’re approving. If a repair needs more than one visit, we’ll explain the charges for the visit and the remaining work before arranging the return.

What if there’s a problem with the workmanship?

Report an error in our workmanship within 30 days and we’ll correct it without labor or travel charges. This covers our workmanship, not a blanket warranty on parts.
